Before the 2006 season was over  Jonathan had recorded five wins in a row in the Junior Novice Division at the fast Syracuse Quarter Midget Club track. Among the highlights of his rookie year were a letter of commendation for excellence in his sport from New York State Assemblyman Dan Brown, and an article on the front page of the sports section of the Cazenovia Republican, a publication of Eagle Newspapers. He also took a win in the Unrestricted Junior Novice Division before Graduating to the highly competitive Junior Honda Division.

In 2008 Jon got a 2007 Talon Chassis that took his Dad a while to get dialed in.  After a motor went south on the team he was able to hold on to 4th in the points at Syracuse in Senior Honda. 2009 was a good year. We still had some issues with handling as we tried new things but the car and driver proved to be worth the investment of Dad's time and money.

April 23rd  SQMC Heat 4th place;  A-main 2nd place
April 29th  SQMC Heat 6th place; A-main  5th place  (Dad 2nd guessing)
May 7th SQMC  Heat 7th place; A-main 7th place  (Dad second guessing again)
May 14th SQMC Qualifying 8th place;  A-main 5th place  in both races in May Jon has been driving with bruised cartilage in his ribs. On the 7th the symptoms were very bad and on the 14th he was still recovering and a bit sore.
May 22nd  SQMC  Qualified 7th place; A-main 9th place
May 29th-30th QMA Region 2 States Race Qualified 5th for the B-main transfered to the A-main; Finished 10th Place
